These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Lenshouse website, customer account, rental request process, and related services. By using Lenshouse, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or request equipment.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or rent equipment. By using the service, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to agree to these Terms.

Keep your account credentials private and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Google sign-in is an authentication option; Google’s account terms also apply to your use of that sign-in method.

To protect customers, equipment, and Lenshouse, we may require identity verification before approving a request. When verification is requested, you agree to provide accurate, current information and genuine images of your own Ghana Card or other information we ask for. You must have permission to provide any guarantor’s personal details and must not submit another person’s information deceptively.

Lenshouse may review, approve, decline, pause, or request more information for an account or rental request. Creating an account or submitting documents does not guarantee approval, availability, or a rental.

A request submitted through the site is a request for Lenshouse to review. It is not a confirmed reservation until Lenshouse communicates acceptance and the applicable equipment, dates, price, deposit, pickup or delivery arrangement, and any special conditions.

Equipment listings, photographs, specifications, pricing, and availability may change. We may correct errors, substitute comparable equipment with your agreement, or decline a request where an item is unavailable, unsuitable, unsafe, or already committed.

The rental-specific terms in your confirmation, invoice, or written communication form part of the agreement for that rental. If they conflict with these general Terms, the rental-specific terms control for that conflict.

Prices, currency, deposits, payment deadlines, cancellation terms, and refund eligibility will be communicated for the relevant rental. Unless Lenshouse confirms another arrangement, payment is due before or at pickup.

Payments may be processed through Paystack. You authorize the payment information you provide to be used for the transaction you initiate. A payment reference or authorization does not by itself create a confirmed reservation; Lenshouse must still confirm the rental.

You are responsible for providing accurate payer information and for any payment dispute or reversal connected to your account, except to the extent caused by Lenshouse’s error or applicable law.

• Rental time starts at pickup and ends when the equipment is returned to Lenshouse.
• Inspect equipment before it leaves Lenshouse and tell us about any issue immediately.
• Use equipment carefully, only for lawful purposes, and according to the manufacturer’s instructions and any Lenshouse instructions.
• Return every item, accessory, case, battery, cable, and other component on time and in the condition in which it was supplied, ordinary wear excepted.
• Loss, theft, late return, misuse, or damage may make you responsible for reasonable repair, replacement, recovery, or additional rental costs.
• Lenshouse gear remains Lenshouse property. You may not sell, pledge, modify, lend, or sub-rent it.

If equipment is lost, stolen, damaged, or returned incomplete, contact Lenshouse immediately and cooperate with reasonable recovery or incident steps. Any specific responsibility, deposit treatment, or charge will be handled under the applicable rental confirmation and the law.

Do not use the website or equipment to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, deceive Lenshouse, interfere with the service, bypass security, upload malicious material, or expose equipment or people to unreasonable risk. Do not attempt to access another customer’s account, verification files, requests, or payment information.

You are responsible for content and information you submit, including social profile details, notes, and guarantor information. You give Lenshouse permission to use that information as necessary to operate the service, review requests, and communicate with you.

We work to keep the website, catalogue, and rental process accurate and available, but we do not promise that the site will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a particular item will be available. We may suspend access for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons.

To the extent permitted by law, Lenshouse is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the site or a rental. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or applicable consumer rights.

You agree to reimburse Lenshouse for reasonable losses, claims, or costs caused by your breach of these Terms, misuse of equipment, or unlawful use of the service, subject to applicable law.

You may stop using Lenshouse at any time. Lenshouse may suspend or close an account, refuse a request, or end access where we reasonably believe there has been a breach, misuse, security concern, nonpayment, or risk to people or equipment. Ending access does not cancel rights or obligations that arose before termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, without limiting any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law. Disputes should first be raised with Lenshouse so we can try to resolve them directly.

We may update these Terms as the Lenshouse service changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the current version. Your continued use of Lenshouse after an update means you accept the revised Terms for future use.
